My take on Safer Streets, delivered by Jerel and Antonio, was really good. Some of the children actually mentioned that it was quite inspiring.
It was well delivered in a relaxed way and the kids really took to it to be honest. I feel it was just delivered in a nice calm way that the children understood and they felt comfortable.
Once Jerel also explained his background I think they felt a connection with him which was really good. Overall it was relaxed and open and when they were giving their answers, Jerel would take that down an avenue and then explore it some more and bounce those ideas to and from with the children.
It was just really smart and it lead to some good engagement.
