At Iprovefit we promote physical fitness, exercise, activities and interactive games as we believe that movement and exercise is vital for young people. When the young people join us they will participate in fun physical activities, which can be challenging and enjoyable and set to both their needs and age.
We conduct an initial fitness evaluation with the young person to gauge their experience and ability to ensure that our approach is suitable for each individual.
We feel that completing exercise and physical activities gives the young people a real sense of pride and achievement of their time with us.
The more we help the body physically, the more we help the mind. Physical activities increase the flow of oxygen to our brains in turn increases the number of endorphins produced. That natural feel-good chemical in our brain.
Any exercise is great for the body but equally effective with dealing with low mood, depression, stress, anxiety, anger and more.
Regular exercise and sport can have an amazing impact on depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD and more. It can also improve memory, aid better sleep, and boost your overall mood.
Exercise can provide them with an enormous sense of well-being, helping them feel more energetic throughout the day, returning the young person back to school or home in a more well balanced, happier state.
We offer a multi activity area of exercise and sports including badminton, basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis and more.
Sport will not suit everyone so we also include interactive games.
For example, playing board games, card gamesand table football, which can all be fun and bring joy to any young person.
It can physically work them without them realising they are doing it and suits both males and females.
It’s an enormous success for team building and improving communication skills.
It also helps improve memory, positive body language, and reflex skills which are equally vital in childhood development and improving their social emotional intelligence.
Young people are the future of any community and we all want to feel we have a positive place in society.
Iprovefit provide positive mentors and direction to learners and young people who may struggle with the difficulties that they may have gone through or are going through.
We aim to support mainstream academic provisions, local authorities or any alternative specialist provision with an early intervention tool, Iprovefit.
Through our work we can help prevent exclusions and keep learners or young people on a positive path to becoming happy, balanced, confident and positive members of the community as adults.
We can also get them back on track to seeing their potential if in alternative provision or struggling with access to education by being home-bound.
